“Uranium mining in the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park, Australia and the impact on the aboriginal community Mirarr”

Speakers :
Justin O’Brien, Executive Officer of the Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation (the organisation representing the Mirarr people, traditional owners of much of the Kakadu National Park) and Dave Sweeney, Nuclear Free Campaigner with the Australian Conservation Foundation, will share with us the story of the Mirrar people and their struggle against the uranium mine in the Kakadu National Park.
